If you’re looking for an expansive area, secluded from main roads, to have your Melbourne wedding ceremony then Lillydale Lake may be a perfect garden wedding location, especially if there are kids involved.
Lillydale Lake is in Lilydale in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. The park is over 100 hectares in size.
There are many tree-lined and grassy paddocks to get married or situate yourself in front of the beautiful lake. There are many photo opportunities amongst the surrounds including the beach area, wetlands, gum trees, creek and the sunsets are magical.
There is ample parking and plenty of room for children to run around and enjoy the playground. BBQ facilities and gazebos are available and you can bring along your own setups too. Nestled at the base of the Yarra Valley wine region, there are many places to visit and eat as well.
